Once a project has been planned, we start by digging a small entry pit at the best possible location, from there we send our mole towards an exit pit up to 10 meters away. This means that for the average residential property we will only require two to three pits to get the job done. That could be for water pipes, lead pipes, electrical cables, and even gas pipe installation.

Our process is much less invasive to your pavement, garden, or driveway, compared to traditional trenching methods which require a much larger excavation, and are therefore much more destructive. What is the ‘mole’?

In reference to moling services, the ‘mole’ we use is a pneumatic steel cylinder that uses compressed air to displace the soil it is sent through and create a bore hole. We have a range of different sized ‘moles’ ranging from 25mm to 150mm, and we can mole up to 20m within one dig.
